Hail the green goblin!

1:1 with the Tamron f/2.8 90mm which was on the camera. Was taking kettle contents of crypts in flowering the other night when this fella propped up and kept buzzing around me. Must have been attracted by the lights. I had moths and flying ants before but a “green goblin” is definitely a first. Looks quite menacing isn’t it?

Did quite a bit of fish and plant photography over the last 2-3 years but insects macro is a first for me. So definitely lots of room for improvement.

Hello world!

Alas the maiden voyage beginz!

Been wanting to set up a cyberspace where I could write and bitch about things which I am involved with or merely just come across everyday, post some pictures I’d taken. The initial idea was to have a website on fishes, specifically the cute lil’ armoured catfishes, Corydoras from S. America which I’d been meddling with over the last couple of years. But that would prove too laborious and I was just too lazy just couldn’t find the time to get my stuff organised to get things done seriously.

So a lesser serious mode seems more appropriate for that purpose and since the hobby had waxed and waned for cories, and at the same time,  to other aspects, i.e. SEA fishes, photography, orchids, cryptocoryne, nature, ecology, biogeography etc, had developed substantially, not forgetting other non-aquaria specific activities e.g. travel, food, movies etc boy can the list go on.

In short, I thought it would be a good idea to put things together in a manner where order seems to be a lesser issue… I hope!!!
